Hello, can anyone advise me where to find not expensive dirndl in Munich? Iam going to Munich in June and try to find one for Oktoberfest 2016.
Any ideas?

Thank you,
Yulia.

Hi, please don´t buy any of those "Party Dirndl" :) I could recommend you Trachten Angermeier but that´s of course a question of how much you want to spend: https://www.trachten-angermaier.de/

I don´t really know where to buy used Dirndl with a decent quality...check C&A...maybe you would get something there as well:

Can't help with that, but I'm indeed also looking for a room up to 450 Euros from Sep/Okt ^__^ maybe someone can help here, too! Looking for a home for the next 2 years, to carry out my master studies.

There are three of us and we are going to rent bikes for 4 or 5 days. The problem is all famous rent points are too expensive: about 15-20 euro per day or about 40 euro per 3 days. May be there is another rental which will be cheaper?
Or may be someone could be ready to share his bike with us, if you don't need it? =)
We live at Wettersteinplatz.

munich is a expensive city...
if you only need the bikes for short stretches maybe the offers from MVG or DB would be useful...

or buy bikes of of ebay kleinanzeigen or at the fleamarket and then sell them again

You can also buy some cheap bikes, and sell them after a few days

My favorite place is the Flaucher, the Munich beach (there is no sand :D ). It's the area between Brudermühlstraße and Tahlkirchen. There are some islands, you can swim there and you can also have BBQ there. Check it out :)

On day with good weather, you will see lots of people doing BBQ, picnic along Isar starting at Bridge at Isartor further south till Thalkirchen zoo. There are also some streches in English Garden where I have seen people swimming,

Is it possible to buy it in the airport at the station? and is it possible to buy it by cash? Or only by a card?

Danke,
Yulia.

there is a airport shuttle bus - it drives directly to the Munich Hauptbahnhof - the bus driver sells ticket, cash or card, doesnt matter! The easiest way, about 10 Euro also, and very comfortable :)

HARALDORIAN , Munich, DEU, about 1 month ago

Its ridiculous to pay so much. I go without ticket ;-)

Manolo Omiciuolo , Munich, DEU, 2 months ago

Hallo Yulia,
the ticket costs 10.80€. There are many tickets-machines spread all over the airport. You can pay cash or card. If you are planning to stay more than one day, if you are travelling with others, look also for other offers, e.g. group ticket, weekend tickets, that enable you commuting easily from and to the airport with any transport mean (S-Bahn, U-Bahn, Tram, Bus).
Cheers,
Manolo
