Hi guys! I want to ask you for advise. I'm looking for 01-02 month french course in Bordeaux city in August - September this year.
If somebody knows a good cheap school, please let me know.
Hey, Alliance Française is the most famous, but I don't think it's cheap.

I spontaneously booked a flight to Bordeaux with no plans, directions or friends. Would love to meet some people, most importantly hear the french accent, can listen for hours. A couch would be a bonus, but would much appreciate some local tips or directions, explore France.

Can't do anything for hosting at the moment :( but if you're looking to meet people with french accents (like me, kind of sexy one) you can come tomorrow at this event and this one the day after :) ! Would be cool to meet an another Irish! See you and have fun in Bordeaux!

Dear CSers in Bordeaux!
Im a traveler from Germany & I live in Barcelona.
Soon, I will be visiting Bordeaux.
After my football weekend, I want to go by bike along the Canal a la Garonne. Can anyone recommend me a good reliable bycicle rental in town that also offers panners/saddle bags with the rental? (Im not searching for the typical & popular citybikes that rent out free for 1 hour or so.)
And: Are there lockers in the city center (e.g. at the bus/train stations)? I would like to travel light at the bike and leave my big backpack for some days.
Thanks for your help!

Maybe you should contact this bike shop near the train station: http://www.hollandbikes.com/magasin-velo-et-location-a-bordeaux-holland-bikes-bordeaux.htm
or try this shop in merignac( ecocycle : http://www.velo-occasion.com/contact.html) that sells (and maybe rents) very unexpensive bikes ( and will probably buy it back when you'll end your trip) but i'm pretty sure that the latter doesn't rent any saddle bags.
